Benefactor Travel is the cultural division of Hamilton Fitzjames, founded in 1994 by Tom Hamilton and Athlyn Fitz-James.
Athlyn Fitz-James, an Art Historian with an M. Phil degree directs the company overseeing a highly talented staff fluent in English, French, Italian, Spanish, German and Dutch.

Our main European office researches and develops the itineraries and operates all programs. Being close to the product ensures that we are always up-to-date on collections, exhibitions, performance schedules, emerging artists and the best hotels and restaurants to enhance your program.
Our Client Relations Office is connected by an 800-line in the Eastern Standard time zone and handles all mailings, travelers’ assistance, program registration, payment (by check, Visa or MasterCard) and insurance. Once the program is established, this office handles questions from the institution or individual travelers. We look after all the details so that you can continue doing your job of running the institution.
Our Marketing Office is located in the Boston area and concentrates on creating the programs for your important patrons. If you would like to discuss a destination, talk about a potential program or receive a proposal, we will be there to help on the telephone or face-to-face.
