Join us for a special tour of England, where we will see some wonderful art and some astonishing architecture, much of it inspired by or generated through the interaction of “Reformation, Revolution and Rural Change from the Sixteenth to the Eighteenth Century”. Cumulatively, we hope to convey a powerful sense of why English society changed between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries, of how that progress was achieved, and of the experience of those who paid its price.

Naturally, we will sleep in the finest country house hotels of the region and wash down our history with fine wines in Michelin-starred restaurants and real ales in historic pubs.  I truly hope that you will join us on this voyage through England.
